Great Grey Shrike. 18.3.15, Bwlch Y Lladron, above Hirwaun.
A rare visitor that regularly returns to the same spot over winter. After waiting 6 hours for him/her to turn up
she sat in a tree for half an hour while I hid behind a bush, then swept over my head making 'raptor calls' before
dissapearing again. Note the black bandit mask, and the coincedence that it stops at Bwlch y Lladron, literal
translation - "The Thieves Pass"
