Ash Copse
Ash Copse. (Looking South East). 10.8.12. Area 5.
This small copse sits at the extreme end of the site, with Michael Sobbels lesiure centre to the left (North) and the marshes to the right (South).
It has a good mix of ash and oak, but contains the oldest living specimen on the site, an Ash, Fraxinus excelsior that has a gith of approx 4m, which makes it approx 160 years old.
